Neil Leifer

This is a work done by Neil leifer who photographed sports in general, essentially i chose him because he photographs one particular sport which is boxing a sport which im personally fond of and a reference i used to assist me on my photography block he photographs in black and white because if he used flash the boxers would become distracted.he is most famous for his photos of the most famous legend Muhammad Ali the photo above is his greatest achievement in his career its shows Muhammad Ali standing over a defeated william.

These images are photographs that are my own work using boxing as my theme i also use black and white photographs

I like these images because it looks like an actual boxing ring if you didn’t know i created a model boxing out of found objects

TAKASHI MURAKAMI

The music video for “Good Morning” is essentially the result of  Takashi Murakami bringing to life the various designs he had composed for Graduation’s album artwork through the use of animation. Its story takes place within a futuristic metropolis called Universe City, whose inhabitants are  creatures. The character of the video is “Dropout Bear”, West’s longtime mascot, who – as with previous albums – appears on the cover of Graduation.

Murakami’s paintings are simplified and don’t consist of any tonal modeling and he applies forty layers of paint to achieve correct texture and uses one hundred and fifty colors to his woks making them extremely colorful this is shown in his painting tan tan bo pukin(above).he uses an epic composition to imitate the western style of painting like Salvador Dali who uses a busy dream like composition. His cartoon like forms replicate anime styled drawings also he does animal forms this is because he wants to keep the idea of low art.

This a Photoshop edit that i made, like Takashi murakami’s tan tan bo pukin i also use bright vivid colours and a huge selection of colours

AUT ART EXIBITION “OFFSIDE”

The exhibition OFFSIDE covers a wide range of works from the disturbing (Erik Levine and Salla Tykka). The show does not aim to have an easy and fashionable critical view on sports, but to explore how artists use the topic “sports” to talk about power and obedience, identity and loss, despair and belief.

ERIK LEVINE

Is an american photographer who takes photos of sports like Neil leifer,he takes pictures of the emotional commitment that players of sport have to go through, like my work with the boxing ring i play around with the idea of emotion through harsh light and shadows giveing the idea of loneless aswell.

SALLA TYKKA

IS another photographer who photographs a boxing montage (below) is a photograph of a woman training on focus pads this is because to show the world that manly sports like “boxing” men discriminate women for participating in such a sport it should only be for men.The photograph is shot in black and white and another inspiration for my work (bottom right)

RUSSIAN PATTERNS

Russian patterns i have used in my graphic design module. They are unique in a sense of form and colours but otherwise similar to the other cultures who weave patterns. The patterns look like they originated in the middle ages or the reinasanssie i  think this because of how the majority of the patterns have flowers which symbolise chivalry and they consist lots of different diamond patterns.

As you can see this picture there is some diamond russian patterns in the background. This a Photoshop edit i made about a russian friend of mine its a picture of his current house here in Kingsland,Auckland.

All fights, whether in a home, place of work, place of business, or the street, are regonized as criminal laws which make illegal various forms of aggression and public disturbance, including assault, battery, trespass and vandalism. Street fighting planned and carried out specifically to cause civil disorder and riots may be prosecuted under a variety of conspiracy laws, including anti-terrorism laws. In most countries, participants in a street fight may also be able to sue in a civil court to recover for their injuries.
In some jurisdictions, and historically, a theory of “mutual combat” prevailed, which decriminalized a street fight that was mutually agreed upon by the participants. This concept has largely been abolished, especially in the United States, where in some states it may even be charged as a substantive crime. It is now more common for both participants to be held criminally liable for disturbing the peace, assault, battery, attempted murder, or any other crime applicable to the facts. Whether or not a participant in a street fight may claim self defence against his opponent depends entirely upon the laws of the jurisdiction. however, that a “mutual combat” scenario usually precludes either participant from claiming self-defense. Otherwise, self-defense would usually apply only if the fight was begun unilaterally by one of the participants, and only then if various other requirements are met, again, depending upon the jurisdiction.

Many street fights including organized, street or school, are being recorded for the purpose of uploading onto websites like YouTube-giving the underground fight system more of a global view making many fighters famous for e.g kimbo slice started from the streets and got regonized as the best street fighter in the world now he is enterining the UFC as a heavy weight pro
